With a diverse range of templates and an emphasis on custom made boards, Jye can shape you just about any type of board you can think of! Jye has 20 years experience in shaping and manufacturing surfboards and has worked for industry leaders such as Channel Island, Gordon & Smith, Bennett surfboards and, more recently, with Deus ex Machina in bali at the Temple of Enthusiasm.

Jye takes immense pride in his work and is personally involved in the manufacturing process of your surfboard from start to finish. Jye has a true grasp of all generations of surfboard design and has a strong concept and ethos in board design which he follows daily.

Essentially, Jye produces quality and functional surfboards. His concepts are derived from theories related to the wave and how it is shaped. Designing surfboards for a vast range of ages and abilities is a challenge, but with Jye’s experience in all styles of board design, he applies his ethos to the custom design process in producing a surfboard that works for you!

Jye does not produce pop-outs, just quality designs. So come in and have a chat to Jye. Tell him what you are looking for in a board; what kind of waves you want to ride it in, your general surfing ability and he will, without a doubt, produce a custom surfboard that meets all of your needs!

“My aim and ethos from the outset was to produce quality surfboards for my customers. I believe my boards are extremely functional and customer satisfaction is my highest priority.”

“I don’t just talk the talk, I walk the walk. All of my designs have been researched and tested personally to achieve a greater understanding of the mechanics of the board. I regularly ride boards from all eras of the surfboard evolutionary timeline and I consider myself a life-long student of surfboard design.“

“With over 20 years experience manufacturing boards, I will work with you in designing your new creation or tweaking one of my old models to your specs.”

“Come in and have a chat at the factory or contact me via email or phone.    Remember ‘Custom made’ is best!“
